This is one of the cheapest 4K monitors you can buy. There is nothing to complain about the costs. I was looking for a 1440P monitor that I can use mainly as a secondary monitor on my desk, for watching videos on my Apple TV, and sometimes as an extension of my main computer's desktop. For the same price it was too good to pass up so I decided to give it a try. Details: 1. Enough Input - 2 x HDMI, 2 x Display port.2. 1 headphone/speaker jack to which you can export audio directly from the monitor.3. Pixel density (not resolution) - not sure, but photos/videos look better on my 12 year old Apple Cinema Display 1440P. Yes, it's 4K, but the pixel density seems pretty low. But then it costs around $250 for a 4K resolution. Basic color management is on the monitor with Preset.5. HDR compatible. Bad things: 1. Color accuracy - no matter what I do I can't get the correct color profile for the monitor to edit photos or videos. I would not recommend this monitor to anyone working with photography or video, even as a casual hobby. Spend more money to get a better monitor like the LG Ultrafine for any job that requires color accuracy.2. The stand isn't removable - the stand column is glued to the monitor, as some reviewers have pointed out. The stand is supplied separately. I use a monitor so it's a bit annoying. You will need to cut the post of the rack. At the moment I use it as a handle when I need to move the monitor. I'm not sure why they designed it that way. Good things: 1. Semi-automatic input switching: The input switches automatically depending on which HDMI is active. I have 2 HDMIs connected to it, an Apple TV and a Nintendo Retro. If Apple TV goes to sleep while Nintendo is on, the monitor will automatically switch to Nintendo. If I turn off the Nintendo and turn on the Apple TV (ATV), the monitor picks this up. However, if I still have one of them active and turn on the other computer, it won't switch to the new device. That's what I mean by "semi-automatic". It's still better than every time you go to the monitor menu and switch input methods.2. Monitor goes to sleep mode when there is no active input: When the ATV or Nintendo is powered off, the monitor quickly displays a no input message and the monitor goes black (sleep mode). It's such a nice feature. For many monitors, you still need to turn off the monitor.3. There's a speaker: not a very good sound system, but good enough to play a Nintendo Retro.4 system. Content browsing is good: I mentioned that the color profile isn't used for photo or video editing. However, it is very good when watching videos like Netflix, YouTube, etc. Just make sure the connected device supports HDR and the monitor's HDR setting is set to "automatic". If you are using ATV 4K, make sure the video is set to 2:2:2 and that the newer HDMI cable is used to support it.5. Playing video games on the monitor is fine. Can't complain about that.6. Ideal for any office job. If you use the monitor for office work, watching videos and gaming, this is basically a good choice for the price. Not recommended for photo and video editing. I know it's weird. If color accuracy is not available when editing a photo or video, how can it be suitable for viewing? I don't know but that's the only reason I'm keeping it. As a secondary 4K monitor, it would be a good choice. When using it as an extended desktop, I have a photo/video on my main monitor and put controls on that monitor to maximize my workspace. 99% of the time I stream videos on it. Make sure you have "HDR" set to "Automatic" in your monitor setting. Without them, the colors look very washed out.
