I have less than 10 reviews of Revain. Half of them were about products I liked and half about products I hated. Before installing the headphone mount under the table, I wiped down the spot where it was mounted with an alcohol wipe and then a microfiber cloth. I carefully and firmly placed the product in place and held it for about 4 minutes. I then left the mount alone for 72 hours to ensure the glue or glue had enough time to cure (I don't know if curing was even necessary). I was then pleasantly surprised that it held my two earbuds comfortably for almost 2 months. Today I came home with both headphones lying on a hard wooden floor. My Sonys have a small tear on the outer ring because I think the headphones fell on the floor. What caused this product to be hated is the fact that my AKG 701 no longer plays sound from the left earcup. I've learned my lesson: don't trust cheap, multi-hundred-dollar adhesives in headphones, but I just figured that it was an easy one-task product and that if installed properly it would do the job. I was very annoyed that I was stupid enough to trust this thing. Wouldn't buy again, back to the headphone stand on the table.
