I've wanted to learn how to contour for a long time. I saw an ad for this Maybelline Master Contour Kit and thought it would be the ticket to easy and simple contouring. To be honest, I really like the shades in this set. Bronze is a beautiful shade, although it can be a bit dark for my rather pale skin. The blush is a very faint shade of cotton candy that looks great. This is a shade that looks great on any skin tone as it has a slight shimmer to it. The real MVP is here: the marker. Wow. I love how it looks alone, with the rest of the core set, and with my other makeup products when I'm not feeling fully contoured. Subtle yet striking for a wet look. As a review lover, I read everything I could get on this before committing. I gave 4/5 because of the brush that came with it, not the product itself. The brush was a bit stiff and barely visible, like a felt tip pen on a piece of paper. I used my own brushes and did this job very well. If you are looking for a good beginner contouring kit then this is definitely for you. Easy easy. Just make sure you have your own brushes.
