Watch the tutorial on YouTube or just follow the instructions that come with it. Wear gloves for safety.

Yes, others say it's perfect. I have a 2008 EX-L with heated mirrors and it literally took 5-10 minutes to replace my cracked mirror. I've seen a lot of DIY done when replacing a Honda mirror (just the mirror, not the entire unit with body, motor and skullcap of matching color. Start by moving the mirror in and up to reveal the bottom corner of the mirror ). First, find where the mirror's black plastic snaps into the body's white plastic. Swing the flat head between them and twist to separate and it should click. It is pointed skyward and the top two L brackets should just disengage and the mirror will come out except for the two wires. Disconnect the 2 wire connections, then follow the instructions in reverse order to fit the new mirror. snapped back the two bottom clamps. You really have to use the palm of your hand to press the vise against the mirror, right where the bottom two clamps are on the mirror. The other hand presses on the body, feeding the vise like a press, necessarily in the opposite direction. Feel free to press, you should hear an audible click here. No regrets on this purchase, same price as local NAPA auto parts store but faster delivery time compared to ordering the part.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
