Review on Ryobi 18 Volt EverCharge Vacuum Cleaner by Gerald Duncan

I have purchased several RYOBI wireless products over the past seven years and have been very happy with their performance. However, this device is a departure from the usual standard that I'm used to. As stated, the charge is not sufficient for 45 minutes. It's unusually heavy, but its least attractive feature is its lack of ability to vacuum up dirt. Simple items like cat litter need a few mowings before the vacuum decides to pick them up. Removing the floor brush or nozzle will not increase suction power. Basically a useless device. The only positive thing about this tool is that I have a high capacity 18V battery to use with my other RYOBI tools. However, the battery discharges quickly. It is unknown if the battery is defective or if the vacuum mechanism is rapidly draining battery power. All in all, not a very good buy. Cannot return as the packaging has been thrown away and the return period has expired.
