Review on (Refurbished) Samsung Galaxy S9, 64GB, Lilac Purple - Fully Unlocked - Best Deals! by Tim Ram

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wicked intelligent review. 7 year old Apple user. No longer.

🔫Note: This review will be updated many times as the phone ages. And be jealous of my green laser gun. Service Provider: DIRECT TALK Apple users only (7 years old) BACKGROUND: My iPhone 5s is broken 💩 (Second time in 7 years I've lost my iPhone). Every time the "geniuses" told me that my phone was beyond repair and that I had to buy a new phone. And both times it was the charging connector that just failed one day. Big. Looking back, I think I was part of a crowd of brainwashed sheep who thought Apple was the leader in everything. But actually they are stuck in a neutral position. Since they lost Steve Jobs, nobody has been able to become Willy Wonka with innovative ideas and showmanship. And now it's clear to me. Oh, and you know what? They're now forcing the headphones to use the same buggy adapter on all new iPhones (which means you can't charge the headphones and listen through the headphones), so I've finally decided to stop eating rotten apples. And I decided to hitchhike with the Galaxy S9. Now I know you're going to say 5s is older and compare apples to oranges (pun was unintentional🤮. I apologize), but my friend has an iPhone X and is letting me try. It wasn't much different than Apple. And it was 400 more than this phone. (I apologize for my outright digressions, but phones are a huge investment and I try to be thorough in my reviews, which I hope is the complete opposite of boring.) Day 1: I'm really $%@!$& nervous. Did I make the right decision? I think too much about textbooks. I went without a phone for 9 days trying to make up my mind. And here I am. We are waiting for the updated Galaxy S9. Finally delivered. The first box is a typical smaller Revain box. The second in it is a small white box. Very simple carefree packaging. Inside that box was a phone, a power adapter, a charging cable, and a document with a quick start guide and APN Help. Also a postcard from Revain saying contact the sales person first if you have a problem, blah blah, the voice of teacher Charlie Brown, blah blah blah. So I've made a few certified refurbished e-purchases in the past and they've worked great, so I wasn't as concerned as a refurbished newbie could possibly be. But listen. The phone is now in hand. And this phone is amazing. Perfect. I checked it and it looks like new. The screen is perfect. Do not be afraid. Jump in the water. Buy refurbished. So here's my first negative, but it's actually petty. I bought the phone in "purple" color because I like light purple colors like lilac and lavender. But that doesn't quite work either. I would call it more pink with a hint of purple, but it's still sleek and pretty and can be covered with a case if needed. So, physical condition to begin with, I'd give it a solid A+. Now to the SIM card. I'm a Straight Talk user again (love them. 4 years now). My iPhone was empty and switched off for about 9 days. I pulled the SIM card out of the rotten phone, pulled out the Samsung SIM tray and inserted the SIM card, pushing the tray flush. The phone turned on. Without having to go through every step, the setup was so easy and smooth. It found my service provider automatically, so I'd say this is as close to plug and play as you can get. cool Because of this phone, I'm falling in love like Pete in Ariana. Spring. I've been playing on my phone for several hours now. I can't procrastinate. So many things are infinitely better than Apple. I'll list a few and end the recap on Day 1. And if you've read this far, peace and love to your neighbor. Happy looking for the phone. You are beautiful🌞🌜⛱🌚🌟1. Personalization: THEMES! I can't stop trying them. They change sounds, wallpapers, app icons, and maybe other cool stuff that I don't immediately understand. you are so cool Text messages look different. And the background image can be animated. Lock screens can be video. I'm admittedly a bit of a geek. Android systems allow you to change a lot. And I'm a fan of customization. Not only can you choose from hundreds of free and paid themes on the Google Play Store, you can also choose from many different fonts (and you can choose from many free and paid themes alike). You can set the order of so many things, it's just the coolest thing. Oh, and that's great. For OCD users like me who hated when you couldn't delete an Apple app, you still have those on Android that you can't delete either. BUT YOU CAN HIDE THEM!2. Key presses are addicting. It feels like you're pressing a button when it's a blank screen. I have a screen protector and a phone case and it is still very responsive. Glides are no different from Apple. I navigate like a pro. I'm sure there are instructional videos I need to watch to learn all the keyboard shortcuts, but I'm fine with that. Good. Enough for now. I dream of playing a lot more with my phone. Ask questions. I will answer everything I can. I will update this review if I see the need. Peace and Love, Muffin Man.
