Good glass is far from entry-level, let's say semi-professional, for a very good price. I use on crop, respectively, the FR is no longer 70-300, but 112-480, which is only better for me, as I am fond of shooting aircraft. The lens is also good as a portrait lens, good bokeh and no face distortion. If you are looking for a decent zoom, then I advise this glass. I got it for 14990.
