I used to think that the power cord is the power cord, regardless of the rating, but I was wrong! OFC, what's the difference! You pay for what you get, especially powering your high power amplifiers. If your amp keeps turning off, disconnecting, clipping and you can't figure out why?!?!? I can guarantee you 9/10 times this is your COUNTRY! I'm using an old school JL Audio 1000/1 V1, an original BAWS amp and 3 JL W612v2, hub, all Alpine components, EQ, sound processor and head unit. I have completely redone my cabling with all OFCs, even did a Big 3 upgrade with OFC and OMG cables and wires! My sound system sounds as it should, my amp stays on when I play bass notes below 35Hz, the highs are crisp and clear with no haze, I can crank it up as loud as my ears can handle when everything sounds and works together! OFK FTV!
