It is well made and the light output is great for our medium sized bathroom (about 80 square feet). However, its installation requires special efforts. My existing J-Box has 12 and 6 screw holes which are the location of the threaded holes on the mounting plate so these holes had to be drilled. But after that, the screw holes don't allow play at that point unless the box is perfectly vertical, and mine isn't. It is imperative that the mountain board rests on top of the drywall so that when the board is tightened it presses against the drywall and is flush. There is a small gap between my J-Box and the drywall that causes the panel to sit unevenly, making it difficult to align the light mounting holes. The gap isn't terrible and wouldn't be an issue with almost any other light source. Finally, the base of the bracket barely covers the mounting plate and J-Box hole. So, again, you'd better have a very clean J-Box install, or you'll have to do a little fix like I do. However, if you have a very clean J-Box setup and the holes on the box are NOT the 12th and 6th positions, installation should be a breeze.
