Awesome little snap hooks that fit snugly onto the 5 strand 550 parachute line For the hammock I have blankets, a tarp, anchor pad, bear bag and many other things at my campsite. They are great for necklaces and keychains. I've used them with a 25 pound load and wind speeds up to 40 mph and they've been through it like a champ. I don't know why the other reviewers claimed they weren't suitable for parachute lines, they must have built up the end of the line when they melted it. On the 550 PC I don't have a problem with that if I'm careful. Not only do I recommend them, but I keep a few on hand to give to other backers to lighten their load a little.
