Conflicting instructions

No instructions. Third party online videos have conflicting instructions. Then I found instructions in the "Product Description" section hidden under "Sponsors" and "Compare Products". These "instructions" tell you to use the stones for 10-15 minutes at a time. This guide takes almost an hour for each knife. The blocks come with a card that says email and they'll send an 'e-book' and a 'surprise'. I sent an email but never received a reply. I have a feeling this is a good sharpening stone, but I really have no idea. I don't know whose instructions to follow (Revane says use water, others say oil), and I don't know how long to sharpen the blade (Revane says almost an hour, others say just a minute or two) . The blades didn't seem much sharper (maybe a little, but that might be wishful thinking). And I have no support. Just try to find their website. Then you don't have it. And there is an angle guide. This is a universal size. It's just trash to throw away. I paid $44 for these stones. If you are determined to buy stones, buy cheaper ones.
