I was hesitant to buy them at over $150 a pair. You need something weatherproof, with long battery life and decent sound. Weather protection yes. But mine sit under our covered patio. They worked great after 2 nights in the Oregon sea air. Batteries worked GREAT! With the lights on, we listened for 5-6 hours before the low battery showed up. The volume was at 50%. A full charge takes 3-4 hours. As for the TON. If you're a music lover like me, you'll probably be a little disappointed. I used Pandora first. At 75% volume, there is noticeable crackling and bass distortion. I hear an acoustic violin station. The bass isn't as deep as my JBL Flip 5. At 50% the sound is very clear and crisp. I went into pandora settings and turned the sound quality up. made a difference. Apparently, if you upgrade to a subscription fee, you can play music at 196 kbps. Which should be of great importance. I have a set of two speakers, definitely good "stereo" surround sound. I would say it met my expectations for "decent" sound. I downloaded the EQ app and when listening to music from my iTunes library I was able to change the saturation of the highs, mids and lows. But again, at higher volumes, the audio became distorted and hard to hear. Columns are EASY to connect! One touch button. The Bluetooth connection with my IPHONE 11 Pro Max was flawless. I placed them at a distance of 15 meters from each other. I could walk 30 feet and still stay connected to my phone. The lighting contributed to the pleasant atmosphere of the terrace. My model only has white lights, no colored ones. Despite what you see in the photo, they are not "yellowish" like our garlands. Rather white, but still nice to look at. The speakers look very nice with the new design. But it seems cheaply made when you handle it. Plastic parts but I think plastic will last longer than wood?!? Two little annoying things. First, when the speakers are connected to each other and to your device, the voice sounds pretty LOUD. Your voice is definitely from China. lol my people Second, it comes with two USB charging cables. These are 2 separate cables and do not include a power plug. You'll have to get two separate plug-ins or luckily we had a plug-in with two USB ports. Small inconveniences. Overall I wish they had used slightly higher quality speakers. As for the size of the boxes, I thought they would go more into the audio aspect. The appearance is amazing with LED light and design.
