It's in the shape of a pen!
I have purchased several other shower/back brushes and this one works best for me. All the brushes seemed to have oak like bristles that can stand up to use and this one seemed rough at first, I think it has enough cleaning power without leaving any bleeding. The handle does it for me: a good size and shape to hold, and the brush head is properly angled. I haven't used the detachable part of the brush head separately from the handle, but I could see how good it is. I will order this brush if I need another one.
