Review on Converter DROK Voltage Regulator Waterproof by Jason Elliss

I needed to convert my new 12v lithium battery to 6 volts. I have found that 12 volts is too much for a live bait pump. I used a 6v lead acid battery which is HEAVY and used it in a kayak to keep life going. For weight reasons and durability, I went with a 12V lithium battery that weighs 1.5 pounds. vs. lead acid 5 lbs. So I bought this 12v Drok with a step down to 6v and checked that it stayed constant at 5.98v which is perfect for my application. I was also concerned about the feedback saying it's getting hot or getting hot? After 6 hours I was amazed that it did NOT get hot. Exactly what I'm looking for! I've added 2 photos of how I installed it in a waterproof case. Great product and price! Recommended if you are looking for a sealed 12v to 6v converter at a good price.
