When I first bought the headlights, the brightness was good. The lights drain the batteries faster than I could have imagined, but I also enabled them for the app. 8 hours/day. What I noticed when I bought it is that the remote control doesn't always work, ie it turns off one light and not the other. Currently, the remote doesn't turn off any lights, which left me with only one option - removing at least one of the batteries to turn off the lights. I would hope each light has a manual on/off switch in case of a remote failure. I would also advise buying rechargeable batteries if you plan on using them for a long period of time.
