Thankfully after surviving Hurricane Irma in Southwest Florida I never lost communications or power. I can give these 5 stars with enthusiasm, also because it gave me a feeling of security. I held it close and waited for the storm to hit, knowing that in most cases it would allow me to deal with the loss of power and communications, at least temporarily. I tested all functions and it works as described. Since many of my neighbors are still waiting for electricity 8 days from now, I appreciate the possibility of charging the battery with a solar panel. It comes with basic instructions.
