This is my daughter's size, excluding the buttocks area. It stops right in front of what would be the waist front if that makes sense. I want her to be raised slightly in the back so her lower back isn't visible but doesn't move when she bends over or sits down. Everything else (pants, skirt, waist fit perfectly so I don't know if I shouldn't go bigger. Her shirt tucks in. I would buy them again)
