Review on Smackers Disney Princess Comic Train Case: Lightweight and Portable at 1.78 pounds by Ricky Long

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fun makeup playset for ages 5-10

I confess my eyes lit up and I got a huge goofy grin on my face when the Disney Princess comic case arrived at my house. This is exactly the kind of gift I would have loved to have had as a child. This is the kind of gift that would make me feel special as the case looks cool and there are lots of colorful makeup items to play with. I think kids aged 5-10 will love this makeup kit the most. Again, this is play makeup and I really think there's a big difference between a gift like this and your child using it and having fun around the house and wearing real makeup on a regular basis. Given all the different colors. options, it's disappointing that you only get a brush applicator and a sponge applicator. There is a heart-shaped mirror on the inside of the case. Make sure you remove the plastic otherwise you will think you have a blurry mirror. (It took me 10 minutes to finally realize the mirror was plastic.) There are two things that made me wonder if this was a legitimate licensed product. I am confused as to why it is called Smackers when the product is from the Lip Smacker brand. You can't be too careful when ordering online these days. Why this product isn't currently affiliated with the Lip Smacker page here on Revain is odd. I also found it odd that one of the thought bubbles on the train body says "ONLY ONE FOR THIS, PASCAL!" and it's like what Snow White said. I'm not 100% on the Disney movies, but I checked and it's probably a line from the movie Rapunzel: Tangled. I wasn't sure if it was a typo and the word "pascal" must have been a rogue. After some thought, I think it's part of the Lip Smacker and an officially licensed Disney product.
