Review on RayHom 8-Bay Fast Charging AA AAA Battery Charger with LCD Display, Individual Slots for Ni-MH AA AAA Rechargeable Batteries by Richard Singleton

For the last few years I have used Eneloop batteries with Eneloop chargers. I've been very happy with them so far, but their cost was a bit high. When I recently needed a new set of batteries, I decided to try something new. I went with PowerOwl batteries with this RayHom 8 bay charger to see if they actually got good reviews. To my very pleasant surprise they have exceeded my expectations in the short time I have had them. This charger is very well made. Each of the 8 compartments has an indicator that shows how charged the battery is. In contrast, Eneloop chargers only have an LED that indicates whether the battery is charging or fully charged (no indication of how much charge has been loaded). Another area where RayHom excelled was its close alignment with AAA. batteries. With Eneloop you always get the feeling that AAA batteries don't sit well in the charging slots, but with RayHom that's not a problem. The charger is really fast, and I've had a few instances where fully discharged batteries took around 4-5 hours to charge. In general I am satisfied. Time will tell if the charger will hold up, but for now it's my go-to charger for anything that needs topping up.
