Wasted several hours trying to figure out why the locking pin won't engage. Eventually I took it apart and found out why. The part where the bar goes is in the wrong position as you can see in the picture. The width of the crossbars is different and not set correctly, so assembly is not possible. Worse still, I checked the reviews again and saw the exact same issue other buyers are reporting. The manufacturer is aware of this issue and has not done anything to fix it. I would not support such an enterprise and I recommend you not to do it unless you want to waste more than 4 hours of your weekend like I did. There's no excuse for that, they just don't care about their customers. you have been warned Thanks for your time.
