When I got what turned out to be a 'big chop' at the salon they used the infamous Dyson hair dryer which I fell in love with. However, when I looked at the price, I was amazed. So I kept looking for a reasonable alternative until I felt comfortable enough to afford such a large hair purchase. I found this and based on the reviews I told my wife I wanted this for Christmas. So she got it and gave it to me as an early Christmas present. The first photo is of my hair the day before. Second drying process. The bottom two are the final results. My hair is very thick and usually dries FOREVER. Overall it took me about 20-25 minutes with this hair dryer and it was warm. Like most dryers, it has off, low, and high settings. It also has cool, warm, and hot attitudes. I LOVE that the cool/cold setting doesn't require you to hold down the button. You just switch to it like you would any other option. Oh yeah if you have thick hair the diffuser part itself holds a decent amount of hair and I feel it's very strong. Sizing wise I've just been traveling and taking this to my family and it's the perfect lightweight dryer! I sincerely hope this stands the test of time, but we'll see. So far, so good!
