This is fantastic. I've had plastic breaks on my ATV more than once. These are all metal fasteners and very heavy. I installed them on my Wrangler's tube doors to keep the rifle on the side of the jeep. Transportation of rifles in the limited space of a jeep on a hunt entails a lot of inconveniences. Hard to get or easy. As a disabled hunter I hunt from a jeep so I need easy access. This worked great since the rifle is externally mounted, but it's easy to grab. I don't pack it until I'm hunting, but I like them as they're strong enough to stay on the jeep trail without damaging the rifle. The clamps are very tight, so they don't rotate or move when the jeep is off-road. I will buy one kit for my quad if the other breaks. Plastics tend to crack over time from vibration at the neck. They look like they'll outlive me.
