LOWEST QUALITY best in collars

My 15 year old house cat who has no claws and has never been outside wore this collar for only 6 months. During this time, I constantly cut long threads, and the attached photo shows that the fabric itself is crumbling. I wanted a stretchy collar that hopefully wouldn't chafe my neck. This was unsuccessful.
