I used the timing tool kit on the ISX15 because I needed to replace the transmission case gasket. I didn't like that none of the wedges had an indicator line to check if they had reached the desired depth. I don't know what the OEM cost is but I'm sure this one is more affordable. The pin went through the crankshaft perfectly, as did the #6 pin on the camshaft. I don't know of any other wedges as I've never had to use one in my 16 years as a diesel mechanic.
