No Safety Certification

I was glad to find an internal fuse in this unit but the product description is misleading. Manufactured from UL listed wire. Yes, but that doesn't mean it's UL listed. Even without a UL number, this is a nonsensical statement. Constructed from IP68 vinyl. Yes, vinyl is water and dust resistant, but that doesn't mean this device is. Where is the serial number to support this claim? The device is not electrically certified. For example in the UL list. It claims to be CE (European) listed but as the device lacks labels there is no proof. Last time I checked, CE approval requires the device to be marked, which means it is not CE approved. My favorite here is the FCC approval. The reason I say this is because FCC certifications typically only apply to devices that transmit radio waves, such as B. a mobile phone or a walkie-talkie. Some insurance companies will void fire insurance if the device is not UL listed in the US. This is easy to find out by calling the insurance company.
