Works as intended. I admire technology! Get to know the mechanical concept and understand its possibilities.

Recall the exact statement of the first reviewer of this product. With this in mind, have the appropriate matrix ready. In my situation, a regular round washer tap failed to rethread the compressed areas of the exhaust bolts due to my abuse due to backlash. Ideally, the appropriate torque required to install the exhaust bolt is such that the stem or unthreaded area of the exhaust bolt, in my case, is just snug on the cylinder head. The exhaust nut then does the rest of the exhaust bolt tightening, as most exhaust nuts I come across are somewhat compressed into a round shape. The extra torque can deform the threads of this product's inner "rollers" - as in my case. The deformed portions of the thread, of course, correspond directly to the "rollers" that come into contact with the thread during tightening. The simplicity of the mechanism is ingenious: the inner wall of the case has elongated protrusions (like camshafts), long rollers of the same length and diameter, and a "clip” for the rollers (an analogue of the CV joint design). As the body rotates around the screw, the internal cams allow the "rollers" to reduce the air gap between the threads or shank of the screw by directing the rollers toward the center of the cavity or threads or shank of the screw lead screw. The amount of inward movement of the rollers is determined by the maximum height of the inner sheets. The moment the "rollers" grab the inserted object or occupy the air gap between the rollers and the bolt and a rotational force is applied, the internal pressure from the inner cams on the "rollers" and the "rollers" on the cage decreases ab the "roll" is eventually created along with external pressure on the body on the bolt. Ultimately, the durability of this product can be determined by how well the case withstands external pressure from the rotational force generated by the ratcheting anvil or wrench. Note that the mechanism can radially compress the bolt's threads around its entire circumference if the tool is used incorrectly, by applying the tool to an incorrectly sized bolt or to material that is too soft. Or the tool will not work at all if a larger screw is used than the tool is designed for.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
