I love these speakers. They are visually appealing and the sound is pleasing. But they are VERY LOUD. We got these speakers for use with the Victrola Recording/Tape/Radio/CD/Bluetooth system because of the lack of bass in the overall sound. It sounded good, but we wanted it to be a bit louder and have a fuller sound. And the records were played quietly, even at maximum volume. As I said, the speakers are very loud and even records are played very loudly. And the sound quality is excellent. But there is only one volume. We tried the Bluetooth connection of the turntable and speakers, and we also have a stereo cable to connect to the auxiliary cable. When you play music from the player, the sound comes from the player and speakers. You can use the volume control on the player to decrease the volume on the player, but this does not work on speakers. I checked the owner's manual and it says nothing about the volume and there is no volume control anywhere on the speakers. You can only control the volume of these speakers when using your phone to listen to music via Bluetooth. You can adjust the volume on your phone. I want the box (we bought it on sale) to say this because I don't think we would have bought this item had we known about it. I wanted others to know before they bought it. I hope this review helps others.
