I have a Vstar 1100 Custom and wanted something on the rack for short day trips. Works great / perfect just for me, I suspect it will be too small for when my wife needs her raincoat, sunscreen, makeup or a place to stash our two jacket liners (but she rarely rides with me) - issue clarification. I like it. I don't like ratchet straps. has small plastic hooks and is short. I mounted it securely to the pole and trunk. just not happy with them. I can try to change them or make something better. it said. it doesn't look like it's going to fall off, which means it'll be there for a long time if I don't change anything. I like the straps on the Kury GranTour Bag (much better clip and velcro). I don't like the raincoat either. Gently pulls out of its own pocket, but sticks to pocket and doesn't fully close pocket - only on one side. Also, this bag is good for me, and if it and I get wet, I let it (and I) dry. Drive safe!
