These toys are great! I had to blow some balloons into swords just to survive half a day. My 5 year old son wanted something more permanent so we switched to inflatable swords. They don't stick with any kind of hardcore sword fighting. I've tried them and so far I've only had to open two (for an impromptu sword fight around the house) and they've lasted over a couple of weeks. We even took him on vacation, put him in a suitcase, and he survived. Children can hit or hit themselves hard with them and they won't scratch or cut. Thinking of maybe ordering later for a party theme for my son. Good product! Highly recommended for your little knight or pirate!
