Our pup, Ruka, is a 1 year old Labrador/German Shepherd/Boxer mix weighing about 70 pounds. It was very easy to size and cut the collar to fit, with just enough length for an even larger dog. I ordered the red which as mentioned in one review was a bit darker than the green. It has a nice, solid glow, not bright to the eye but bright enough to see them over 100 yards away. We live in a rural area with little but little traffic. It was getting dark so early now that it was very hard to know she wasn't out. I am very happy with this collar so far. $10 for peace of mind? SALE! I'll check back later to update info on hold time, durability, etc. I am a VERY happy customer so far! UPDATE: So it's November 27th and we really liked this collar. It has retained its durability and still looks and feels new after at least 4 hours of nightly wear. Downgraded to 4 stars because it doesn't really hold a charge. The light begins to noticeably decrease already after 2 hours, completely disappears after 3.5-4 hours. We're used to only turning it on when she's outside and charging it every night, so it's not a big deal. However, I feel like it should last a charge longer. We were hoping to use this during the long summer nights and hikes. You can shop or just buy a few more to worry about a longer night! All in all still great value for money and I would still recommend it to a friend albeit with a disclaimer ;) UPDATED again: it's February now and the collar is ready. The fittings came loose badly and now he fell again, this time into the abyss. The charging port cover also fell off, allowing water to seep in, and the LED block inside the case became detached, shifting so it didn't stay connected all the time while charging. In general, the light was bright, but the durability was not enough. I would recommend this for an older dog that doesn't roam free and is rude with other dogs in the house! I will order another style with buckle, waterproof and charging port cover.
