The clasp goes to my belt loop, the divider is right in my jeans pocket and now I don't rattle like a janitor. The whistle is weak and nobody cares because the helicopters looking for you are louder, the stainless steel cutter probably won't do much because the knife was faster, and the cord is just long enough to choke a sack of socks or to hang up . This is a very nice keychain to wear on my work jeans. But I'm not going to save the world with that. I don't see a carabiner outside of a self-locking loop. In the end, the physical buttons don't matter. However, I like this thing a lot! I just want more because they know how to make keychains and they are good. The only downside is that the laser cutting of the stainless steel part was not set up at all with the Holtzmann and had no shielding gas. Chinesium through and through in this one aspect.
