After A LOT of research everyone should know that after a few years most protectors don't last very long and need to be replaced if protection is concerned you need. Also, most of them don't work when there's a big surge, and they're easy on your hardware. I read someone who came across this protector the hard way, but if they had researched it they would find that it's more the norm and not just this one. Reset buttons are near or missing. Well, saying that, I really love it. I have different types but this is my favorite. And I'm glad I did the research. So if there is a power surge I'm not at a loss if I have to get a new one. Oh, it also says that you can often still use a plug protector, it's just a surge protector that goes away. Hope this helps others like me.
