I have several carpeted stairs at home and it is quite difficult to use them with a regular vacuum cleaner so I took this one hoping it would make the task easier, and that helps. The vacuum cleaner is very light and does not require a cable, which makes cleaning stairs much easier. I also like using it for hard-to-reach places as well as for use in my car, which again makes the fact that it doesn't have a cord very handy for that. The suction power is matched to the size and weight of the vacuum cleaner. It actually worked better than I expected in the car, although certainly not as well as car wash vacuums. But it was good for picking up most of the dirt and debris strewn across car seats and floorboards. My only issue with the vacuum is that the vacuum attachment is very light and sometimes doesn't stay flush with the floor. But it's a small thing for the added convenience of a vacuum, so I like it and still recommend it.
