Review on 🌲 SUUNTO Core: The Ultimate Outdoor Sports Watch by John Brouillard

I've been watching this watch for about a year. The price put me off buying it. Do I really need an ABC clock? No, not every day, but you never know when it will come in handy. When it hit $139 I couldn't resist and thought I could come back if it's not what I wanted. For me that was a lot of money for hours. I used to buy $12 "sports" watches off Amazon thinking they would last 6 months or less and I was usually accurate. I am strict with all EDC items, knives, watches, sunglasses, flashlights etc. When it arrived I was blown away by the presentation. I was expecting something brighter. I've gone through the setup which, if you read the instructions carefully, is clear, logical, and relatively easy. My impressions after a week: - Great look, fit and feel - It's solid without being bulky, heavy or unwieldy - You get used to the display and the contrast adjustment gets you where you want to be - I don't want or need one GPS on my wrist - I installed and used a compass. It's very accurate! - I have created my default barometric pressure (not altimeter) profile and am looking at it. Storm warning really works! I can't see how to get this watch back. Now it's part of my EDC. I have a long way to go to learn about all the possibilities and access them quickly. There are many online videos and downloads. Bottom line, if you want an ABC watch or are just curious about what use you can find for this watch, you would be crazy to drop this price. The closest price I saw online is around $180 (weak dealer) going up to $200 in most places.
