Ironically I got this to drill center holes in scrap I used to use to make a self centering jig for my drill press. It worked fine. It's relatively big and heavy. Solid heavy. In the end he did what I needed. Advantages: Solid construction. It's not cheap plastic, it's machined aluminum and steel. It will last a long time.- Centering bolt can be adjusted if it's off center.- Two 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" sockets. There are no alignment marks in the holes. Finally, I shone a flashlight into the hole and looked at the eye and missed a bit. I'd like to see the alignment marks. - The diameters on the inserts aren't specified. It's clear what's what, but it would be nice if they were marked were.
