For the record: I received this product as a test sample. I have used several cool mist humidifiers in the past. The Mooka 2L comes well packaged with pieces of foam on either end of the box to keep it in place. Assembly is easy as all parts fit together. While the fill hole is just right for a faucet, I would recommend that you use filtered or distilled water as directed in the instructions. Using unfiltered water with calcium dissolved in it creates two problems. You will see fine powder on all furniture surfaces in the room (dusty limescale residue) and this will eventually cause a problem with the smoke screen. (There are instructions for occasionally cleaning the disc with a mild detergent such as vinegar to loosen the calcium from the disc's surface.) Also, the Cool Mist humidifier is not designed for use with fragrance or eucalyptus oils. How does it work? In a word, "Great!" I filled the tank and installed the regulator halfway. A cool mist was immediately visible coming out of the spout. The 2L size is really designed for a smaller space than I placed it in. IMHO, it's perfect for a child's room or a small bedroom. This is not a criticism of this unit, just a warning that if you have a large room, go up a size so you don't fill the water tank as often as 2-3 times a day. I left it out of the water on purpose and sat for a day to see if the safety switch was working properly. It no longer produced fog, but left enough water in the base to avoid damage from running dry. (By the way, I would highly recommend using a funnel when filling). Also, when taking out the water tank to fill, only a few drops of water dripped out, so the plug in the bottom works properly to prevent water leakage. All in all I would highly recommend this cool mist humidifier (or any of its bigger siblings). The quality seems high and the price is very attractive.
