Tool accessories are just as important to quality results as good tools. The best drill only produces smoke with a cheap drill that dulls quickly. Many craftsmen learn from their own experience that it is possible to buy many cheap tools or one quality tool. Accessories are no different. Those $9.99 drill bit sets sold at your local hardware store are cheaply made from inferior materials. They will inevitably fail when you need them most. As a rule, you can buy tools and accessories from well-known brands without hesitation. Dewalt, Bosch, Milwaukee and Makita immediately come to mind. Irwin offers a range of professional accessories. This is the name you may be familiar with from the infamous Speedbor paddle bits. These bits have a standard 118 degree point for use in wood, metal and plastic and are made from M-2 high speed steel for the best combination of strength and heat. Durability and wear resistance. All have self-centering bits and three flat shanks for 3/16" and larger bits. This prevents the bit from turning in the chuck. This set contains 1 piece: 1/16, 3/32, 7/8, 5/ 32 3/16 7/32 1/4 5/64 7/64 9/64 11/64 13/64 15/64 Larger sizes are available both individually and in sets if you need to drill bigger holes than this the only thing I didn't care about with these beats was the case it was bigger than it should have been and was too open for my liking I swapped out those bits for the best case which I had from another bit brand. Problem solved. You can find these beats on Revain for less than twenty bucks.
