Review on Tenda N301 N300 Wireless Wi-Fi Router, Simple Setup, Speeds up to 300Mbps, White by Koichiro Ogata ᠌

Nothing unusual, normal product.

Apparently my router is among those that do not work stably. I'm satisfied with the latest firmware 2022 63 in terms of functions. I need bridge mode - I connect a device to an existing Wi-Fi ethernet connection, good reception is important. In old firmware, the bridge was somehow poorly configured. Everything seems to work great, except for one thing. The router cannot work stably for a day. The connection falls off, everything is in a strange state, sometimes it’s even impossible to get to the router console. ! You pull it out of the network, turn it on, and voila, everything is restored by itself. So far, out of impotence and annoyance, I dismantled it, soldered a choke and ceramics at the inlet. All electrolytes were duplicated with ceramics. I glued the radiator with double-sided tape to the percent and memory. If that doesn't help, I'll smash it with a hammer. For d-link it always helped . I tested it with a heatsink, the chip heats up decently, a heatsink is definitely needed. ate: the router has been working with a radiator, filter and English firmware for half a year. It works without a single drop, the power is excellent: it breaks through the townhouse from the bottom to the attic. Other routers on the radio work worse in terms of signal strength. It works in the simplest configuration, stupidly dhcp from the provider, in fact nat and wi-fi work. So, in principle, for such a simple case, an excellent router. He greatly improved his opinion of him. For the price, performance is fantastic

Pros
  • Price is good, radio coverage is good

With its pros. Price. On the cable speed does not cut. Compact, you can say miniature. Nice design. Has cons: Wi-Fi speed leaves much to be desired. It doesn't even come close to what it says. Works generally stable. Weak but stable
