Bought this item before a holiday this year. My car has a few sockets for 12V plus and not so many for USB, but there are a few of these adapters too. My biggest issue trying to use it was the length of the cable from the USB to the actual inverter. I have very little space to mount anything near 12V charging stations with USB chargers, so I had to sit down and hold both items to make sure they stayed connected on the way home. When it was sufficiently charged, I quickly took it off and packed it again for the next trip. I wish it had a longer cord for more comfortable use! It was honest about how long it would take to charge and it might even finish just a few minutes early, but I let it sit for the recommended amount of time and then the computer was up and running again!
