Works fine! Quickly razor sharp blades. Easy to use. The materials used for everything else, except for the grinding surfaces, are cheaply constructed. The clamp is adequate but I think a better one should be supplied for this price. Grindstone Guards are weak at best and I haven't had any issues with them yet. I expect that I will have problems with them. When using a kit, I often use it for several days. I sharpen 10-20 knives at a time. I shouldn't use it except maybe 2-3 months. I've had no luck sharpening a knife with recursion. This happened due to the fact that I could not find the exact bevel of the knife's edge. It's razor sharp, it's just not aesthetically pleasing at the tipping point.
