First let me say this is a computer monitor and not a sound system. I've never relied on a monitor for good sound since video monitors. If you want great sound, you should have bought a sound card and some speakers. Nowadays all you have to do is buy a couple of speakers, connect them to your computer and get good enough sound. So I'm not rating the sound. This is a computer monitor I bought this monitor because my ten year old computer died and I thought it would be a good idea to buy a new one instead of a new drive for the old one. Great move, the new computer had an SSD drive and started up much faster. However, it didn't work well with my old 35" flat screen TV, lots of dropouts and no way to adjust it on the TV or computer. So it's time for a new monitor. Sure, twenty-seven inches is a step down from thirty-five inches, but this monitor worked great right out of the box. Plugged in power, plugged in HDMI, turned on and my windows desktop came up in full, no more glare! I was frustrated that the stand's angle caused the computer to tilt toward me by about five degrees. But I'm an idiot, it's been a tough week. After re-reading the description, I grabbed the sides of the monitor and tilted it to the perfect viewing angle. I completely forgot that one of the advantages of this monitor was the adjustable stand. SO HAPPY! For less than $150 this is a great monitor. Crisp and clear, easy to read, beautiful colors.
