Review on Moen Brantford Decorative Toilet Tank Lever in Oil Rubbed Bronze - YB2201ORB by Leroy Wolfe

Imperfect design - plastic parts wear out quickly

As other reviewers have pointed out, the lever that raises the piston (through the chain in my tank) only works when the plastic nut on the lever is tightened where it connects to the handle. Wave. The lever itself is smart and allows for multiple angles that I need to angle my lever hole. But after 6 months these plastic parts started to wear out, the handle slipped past the hand and didn't lift it. I had to frequently tighten it with pliers to considerable torque to get it to grip the lever, but now a little over a year later the nut and parts of the lever are completely off. To me it's just bad design. Also, if a plastic lever is needed to reduce weight, the connection could be reinforced with metal or something else. I don't expect a toilet handle to last 10 years, but I would love to get 2-3 years from a famous brand handle.
