I have very curly hair and I usually straighten it with a blow dryer. This gives me semi-straight hair because I use a round brush and try to keep big loose Hollywood curls down so I still have some volume. Although sometimes it's nice to have very straight straight hair, and that's nice too. To keep my hair straight as you can see in my video, I just blow dried my hair without the round brush, just real quick. Then proceeded to use this hair straightener with very thin strands of hair. This led to excellent results. It gets hot and I don't feel like it's damaging my hair.
