Not thick and unlined. Slimmer jacket. Machine wash and dry only. Hasn't disappeared. Didn't get stuck. The material is not like your regular cotton zip up sweatshirt. My daughter wears a size 7 shirts at Walmart and Kohls and this 7 year old purple jacket fits her. She loves her Mirabel jacket. Which is hard to find. Do not iron the stickers to avoid peeling off.
