I bought this HDMI audio out so my wife can use wired headphones with our new TV. (Bluetooth headphones had too much latency to sync with TV audio). This audio extractor worked for a while but I ended up throwing it away. The HDMI socket was too loose for the HDMI plug and I had to constantly unplug and wiggle the plug to get it to work. Even duct tape to stick all that mess won't make it work, and in the end it wasn't worth the trouble. I recommend paying more to get a more reliable device.
