This tether is what you pay for. It s cheap. It is NOT designed for use with a seat belt. When I asked if it was possible to remove the screw on the brackets on the shoulder straps to attach them to the harness, it was pretty clear from the answer I received that the seller knew nothing about attaching straps , as he said, wrap them around the straps. Bar a few times and screw it to the floor! lol! Anyway, the straps are sewn to the adjuster so you can't remove the screw on the bracket or properly attach it to the seat belt, so I ended up cutting the strap off the adjuster so I could adjust it properly. If you want to be a show off while cruising down the street I think this trailer will suffice. If you want to properly fit it into a car that you race in autocross or rallycross, I would recommend something else.
