I received this product to help with cat odor in a room with litter boxes. I have friends who use the Rainbow version and their houses always smell great so I decided to give this version a try. Pros: -- Easy to install and use -- Definitely improves the smell in the room -- Looks good -- Easy to refill -- Good price -- All essential oils can be used Cons: -- Tank not as big as I like - Simple The advantages outweigh the disadvantages for me. It gets fouled very easily with general water accumulation as it essentially throws water into a hooded area that traps some of it. It's easy enough to take apart and clean with cotton swabs and the like, but be aware that you'll have to do this quite often, especially if you have well water. I don't mind, but if you're looking for something super low maintenance or no maintenance at all, go ahead. The worst thing is that it is a small tank. So if you run it at max level, which I do, it needs to be refilled within a day or two. It's just that I'm lazy, but that's it.
