Great deal and starting point. Update if needed

Great place to start. Amazing value for what you get. Let me start with the positive.1. counterweight. Most cheap rigs don't include it and they are expensive.2. Matte Box: not the best, but works in a pinch.3. the processing is fine and it breaks the little things i added.1. Fotga follow the focus.2. Teleprompter for iPad (Walking with a teleprompter is tricky! but if you can detach it, great, otherwise mount it on a slider or tripod.) 3. Inexpensive remote start/stop for the camera. What I replaced: 1. Shoulder pads. It sucks. It's awkward and I don't like the nasty logo. Replaced with a Fotga shoulder pad. Much more comfortable and professional black finish.2. Bracket for connecting the shoulder rails to the camera rails. It's flexible (which isn't great) and because I'm using a Zacuto Z viewfinder, the camera didn't fit my eye. Instead I bought an aluminum Z mount which made the whole rig more rigid. It also drew attention to the camera. Things I will update at some point. 1. Half cell. For now this helps protect your very expensive DSLR, but as your setup gets heavy and you add good glass the cage becomes flexible. Save and buy a $250 cage of Manfrotto quick release plates if money allows. Although no, this is normal.2. quick release plate. It is made of plastic and can bend a little. Not cool if you're trying to drag the lens against the tracking focus. If I ever swap out the cage there will be new quick release camera snaps and a tripod stand.
