We live in Florida where we have "stickers" that are difficult or impossible to remove or kill due to proximity to other plants and trees. I fill these vials half full with a fairly concentrated weed killer, cut the vine about a foot off the ground, and insert the vine into the vial, making sure the vial remains upright to prevent leakage. The vines die quickly and I can cut the vines at ground level. Works perfectly!
