I confess I bought this particular coaster because the jade green color was so pretty! Coasters look great under my Butterfly Meadow cookware. They are thick enough to provide good cushioning and keep heat above the table surface. However, they look lacy and pretty, like a thick doily. I clean them by hand with a quick wipe when washing dishes, quick and easy. In fact, I've never noticed any food or dirt on it, but I like my kitchen utensils to be clean. They are also easy to store, take up little space and are unbreakable. I have half a dozen beautiful silver plated coasters for special occasions, but they take a long time because they have to be wiped dry and packed in special anti-tarnish cloths and bags. I use and enjoy these silicone coasters 360 days a year!
